I'm baaaaack!!

Oh it’s been so long, how I’ve missed you my little blog.
Hello there and yes, I’M BACK!!! Stella officially has her mojo back ; )

Well, I guess I’ve been grappling with what to write about now that I’m not traversing SE Asia with one backpack and 2 children in tow. That’s pretty hard to beat really, and it’s proved challenging.

Do I write about my successes but mostly failures in the garden from my bumper crop of Jerusaleum Artichokes (and yes the rumours about their effect on the digestive system are true!!) to my tomato vines bearing a bumper crop of 2 tomatoes for the entire season?

Or perhaps I should focus my blog on helping those that have experienced a traumatic episode in their lives, like the one I experienced, to find the energy, courage and strength required to not only ‘move forward’ (thanks Julia) but know that not only can you rebuild, you can become so much more than you actually thought possible.

Maybe it should be devoted to sharing some recent recipes that I have been creating based around fresh, healthy ingredients including some of the newer ‘superfoods’ that will later be utilised in my role as a Health & Wellness coach.

Could it be the dining with children adventures in Melbourne? Oh and I do have some really good suggestions here, none of which involves a buffet, bain-marie, playground, over processed food or a big scary clown.

And then it happened! That big Universal ‘kick up the butt’. So, of course tonight as I sit here it hits me - “by George I’ve got!! - type woman, type!”

This blog was supposed to be about my journey, not just a quick stint in SE Asia, however good that was in terms of material provided, but my life journey.
Well part of the journey I’m on is undertaking studies with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition based in New York to become a Health & Wellness Coach and I’m waaaay behind in my studies, about a month to be exact. I’m so excited about this work and the future opportunities it provides as it complements my passions and work life experiences so well.

Problem is - the Juggle!!!
Single motherhood with 2 young children, full time work, home stuff, gardening, extended family commitments, my me time which includes yoga and meditation, trying to have a resemblance of a social life and keep my friends and heaven forbid actually find time to have a relationship, oh and of course, the study.

Now, getting back to that ‘kick up the butt’. I came down with a nasty flu last week which I’m still battling and didn’t get the internal job that I had gone for at work. I don’t know about you, but when things like that happen to me, I think it’s time to start paying attention to something. I think the Universe is generally on our side.... i know i know - it doesn’t always seem that way.
But I think it is and right now it’s saying “HELLO!?!!?!”

Get back to your study and become the master of your destiny woman
